K. N. Toosi University students summoned to disciplinary committees

At least 40 students from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in Tehran have been summoned to the university's disciplinary committee. These summonses are part of a multi-stage process, with the second stage currently underway. While specific charges and potential penalties have not been detailed, the proceedings are expected to be addressed during the upcoming academic term.

Reports indicate that when combined with 22 existing cases, over 60 students at the university face potential expulsion, suspension, or academic bans. These disciplinary actions are reportedly linked to student protest activities, specifically those occurring following nationwide demonstrations in early 2026.

Additionally, the disciplinary committee at Sharif University of Technology has issued expulsion orders for three students, bringing the total number of expulsions at that institution to ten. These measures follow a period of significant student unrest and protests across various Iranian universities.
