K3 announces new album and temporary return of Josje Huisman

The Belgian girl group K3 is preparing for several major musical developments. The group, consisting of Hanne, Marthe, and Julia, will release a new album titled ‘Superheld’ on October 23. The album features eleven tracks, including new material and recent hits such as ‘De zomer van Oya Lélé’ and ‘Goden’. The project aims to convey positive messages regarding self-confidence and friendship.

In addition to the album release, former member Josje Huisman is set to make a temporary return to the group. She will perform at the ‘Studio 100 singalong in symphony’ at the AFAS Dome in December, stepping in for Hanne, who is currently pregnant. Huisman noted that while she did not initially expect the call to rejoin K3, she accepted the opportunity immediately. She clarified that this is a one-time appearance for the event and does not indicate a permanent return to the group or a broader musical comeback.
