K322 road between Horst and Frielingen to reopen

The K322 road between Horst and Frielingen is scheduled to reopen to traffic on Friday, September 18, 2026, following a full closure that lasted over a year. The Region Hannover announced that the new roadway and asphalt are complete, and essential utility lines have been installed.

The project faced several delays, including a period where work was completely halted. Following an agreement between the Region Hannover and the construction firm Matthäi in August, a final reopening date was established. While the road is reopening, some residual work on the bridge over the Horster Bruchgraben will continue alongside active traffic.
