K92 Mining reports strong Q3 2026 production results

K92 Mining has announced its third quarter 2026 production results for the Kainantu Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea, reporting 49,776 ounces of gold equivalent (AuEq). This represents the company’s second-highest quarterly production to date.

During the quarter, the company achieved several operational milestones, including record quarterly ore processed of 250,042 tonnes and record mine development of 3,486 metres. K92 Mining also surpassed a significant milestone of one million AuEq ounces produced since the start of commercial production in February 2018.

The company reiterated its 2026 annual production guidance of 190,000 to 225,000 ounces AuEq. Production is expected to peak in the fourth quarter, supported by a higher-grade stoping sequence, the ramp-up of new mining fronts, and the completion of key Stage 3 Expansion infrastructure projects.
