Kabuki-za hosts September special sales fair for traditional sweets

Kabuki-za is hosting a special sales fair throughout September at its basement souvenir shop, ‘Omiyage-dokoro Kaomise’. The event features a rotating selection of popular products from long-established traditional confectioneries from various regions across Japan.

Featured items include Kabuto Manju from Tokyo’s Shiose Sōhonke, available from September 2 to September 8, and Kaminogami Manju from Miyagi’s Murakamiya, available from September 19 to September 26. Other participating vendors include Oshiaage Senbei Honpo from Tokyo, Gokatteya Honpo from Hokkaido, Okanman Honpo from Tokushima, and Matsuura-ken Honten from Gifu, with various scheduled sales periods throughout the month.
