Kacey Musgraves honors Dolly Parton during Boston concert

During her ‘Middle of Nowhere’ tour stop at Boston’s TD Garden, Kacey Musgraves performed a tribute to the late Dolly Parton. Following Parton’s recent passing due to cancer, Musgraves honored the musical trailblazer with a cover of the 1977 song ‘Here You Come Again’ and a performance of ‘Rainbow,’ noting that Parton was a significant inspiration for the track.

During the concert, a small fire ignited in the rafters following a shower of sparks during the performance of ‘Golden Hour.’ Musgraves addressed the incident with humor, joking about her use of hairspray and asking the audience if anyone possessed a ‘bedazzled fire extinguisher.’ The flame reportedly died out on its own after approximately three minutes.
