Orlen Oil Motor Lublin wins PGE Ekstraliga bronze medal

Orlen Oil Motor Lublin secured the bronze medal in the PGE Ekstraliga after defeating Fogo Unia Leszno with a score of 56:34. This marks the team's sixth consecutive season on the league podium.

The victory came despite significant challenges for the Lublin squad. The team competed without Mateusz Cierniak due to injury and lost Kacper Woryna early in the match following a heavy crash in the first heat. Woryna was subsequently hospitalized with three broken ribs but insisted on returning to the stadium to participate in the medal ceremony.

Individual performances were mixed due to technical and physical setbacks. Bartosz Zmarzlik faced multiple engine failures during the event, requiring him to use a third motorcycle. Martin Vaculik provided strong support for the team, while Ben Cook led the scoring for Leszno. The win allowed Lublin to overturn a two-point deficit from their previous encounter in Leszno.
