Kacper Woryna wins first Speedway Grand Prix round as Polish riders claim two podium spots
Polish rider Kacper Woryna unexpectedly won the opening round of the 2024 Speedway Grand Prix in Landshut, Germany, with fellow Pole Bartosz Zmarzlik finishing third. The result set up a highly anticipated second round in Prague, Czech Republic, where Polish fans will hope for another strong showing.
The races are being broadcast live on Eurosport 3, with additional streaming options via the Eurosport Pass on Player.pl and on HBO Max. Eurosport 3, a new channel launched in early April, carries the event with Polish commentary, and viewers can also access the competition through the monthly €20 Eurosport Pass package.
The upcoming Prague event follows a crash that forced British rider Dan Bewley out of the competition. Polish riders Patryk Dudek and Dominik Kubera also reached the semi‑finals in Landshut, underlining Poland’s depth in the sport.
