Kadaň and Dunajská Streda secure decisive sports victories

In ice hockey, Kadaň secured a victory against Cheb after a tightly contested match. Following a 1:1 tie through the first two periods, Kadaň scored two goals within 47 seconds at the start of the third period. Vladislav Vrtk scored during a power play, followed quickly by Martin Starý to extend the lead to 3:1.

In women's handball, Dunajská Streda defeated Kynžvart 35:25 in the Doprastav Liga. Although Kynžvart kept the score close at 16:15 at halftime, Dunajská Streda dominated the second half. Júlia Ágnes Farkasová led the scoring for the winners with eight goals, while Tereza Filípková scored six for Kynžvart.
