Kader Meïté attracts Premier League interest amid Al Hilal tenure

Several Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur, are monitoring 18-year-old forward Kader Meïté regarding a potential return to European football. The Franco-Ivorian striker currently plays for the Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, having moved there from Rennes in February 2026 for a fee of approximately €30 million.

While Meïté has reportedly expressed interest in returning to elite European competition, Al Hilal has maintained a firm stance against a mid-season departure. The club hierarchy has indicated that a winter transfer is not currently an option, as manager Simone Inzaghi views the player as a key part of his squad plans. Meïté is under contract with the Saudi club until June 2029.
