KADIN Gorontalo holds V Provincial Consultative Meeting to boost regional economy

The V Provincial Consultative Meeting (Musprov) of the Gorontalo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) was held on September 21, 2026, at the Aston Hotel Gorontalo. The event serves as a strategic platform to consolidate the business community and formulate steps to drive regional economic growth.

Gorontalo Governor Gusnar Ismail emphasized that KADIN is a vital partner for the government in promoting investment, downstreaming, and economic development. He noted that regional development cannot rely solely on government budgets and urged KADIN to utilize business-to-business channels to attract investors. Ismail also highlighted the importance of political maturity and synergy between rivals for the sake of regional interests.

Erwin Ismail, Secretary of Commission II of the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD, described the meeting as a momentum to create new energy for the local economy. He expressed hope that the newly formed leadership would bridge the interests of business actors and the local government, fostering a conducive investment climate and expanding employment opportunities.
