Kadokawa announces FX Fighter Kurumi-chan anime release date

Kadokawa has announced that the anime adaptation of the manga ‘FX Fighter Kurumi-chan’ is scheduled to premiere on October 1, 2026. The series, based on the manga by Demunyan and illustrated by Daisuki Tansan, will be produced by studio Passione.

The story follows Kurumi Fukuga, a 20-year-old university student driven by a desire to recover 20 million yen lost by her mother in the Forex (FX) market. Following her mother's suicide due to financial crisis and debt, Kurumi enters the volatile trading world to reclaim the lost funds, navigating the psychological and emotional pressures of high-stakes trading.

Aina Suzuki will perform both the opening theme, ‘FX Senshi Kurumi-chan’, and the ending theme, ‘$・¥・€’, while also voicing the protagonist. The production staff includes director Yuki Ogawa, screenwriter Kenta Ihara, and character designer Kazuyuki Ueda, with a musical score by Takurō Iga.
