KADOKAWA announces Machico theme song for new Konosuba game

KADOKAWA has announced that the theme song for its upcoming PC and mobile game, ‘Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! ~Blessings on This Lovable Town!~’ (abbreviated as ‘Machisuba’), will be the new song ‘WOOHOO!’ by Machico.

The announcement was made during a special stage at Tokyo Game Show 2026. ‘Machisuba’ is an ‘isekai trouble-life RPG’ based on the popular anime series. The game will feature an original story supervised by the original author, Natsume Akatsuki, with production cooperation from illustrator Kurone Mishima.

Machico, who has previously performed opening themes for the ‘Konosuba’ anime series, wrote the new song specifically for this title. The game is scheduled for release within 2026 on mobile platforms (App Store and Google Play) and PC via DMM GAMES. It will be a free-to-play title with in-app purchases.
