KADOKAWA announces new book releases from Toshi Usagi and Shikisima Tetra

KADOKAWA has announced the upcoming release of two distinct books scheduled for August 2026.

On August 19, the publisher will release ‘Because You Cannot Become Rich on Salary Alone,’ written by investment influencer Toshi Usagi. The book follows the journey of a 32-year-old office worker aiming to amass 100 million yen in assets. It focuses on the psychological barriers to investing, such as fear during market downturns and lifestyle inflation, while teaching concepts like long-term diversified index investing through a narrative format.

On August 20, KADOKAWA will publish ‘Opening a Can of Beer Alone in a Corner of Dystopia,’ an essay collection by VTuber Shikisima Tetra. The work explores the richness of solitary time, featuring reflections on urban walks in locations like Hong Kong, Shimokitazawa, and Ueno. The book also includes content regarding craft beer, gin, and the behind-the-scenes process of creating walking vlogs.
