Kadoma Wagashi Fes to feature popular Japanese confectionery shops

The Kadoma Wagashi Fes will be held at LaLaport Kadoma and Mitsui Outlet Park Osaka Kadoma from September 19 to September 23, 2026. The event features six distinct Japanese confectionery shops in the first-floor center court.

Participating vendors include Fukuwado, specializing in sweet potato treats; iroHa Daifuku; Sangetsuan, a specialist in karinto manju; Shirogane Tomiyoshi, which uses 100% domestic rice flour; Asakusa Baien, a traditional sweets shop founded in 1834; and Izumiya Yoshinosuke, which sells warabi mochi made with authentic hon-warabi.

Additionally, the food sample specialty shop Design Pocket will host a workshop for making mini dorayaki keychains. The broader facility will also host a Silver Week Sale with discounts up to 80% through September 27.
