Kadri Zeka: Secret service dossiers reveal details of his period in illegality

Declassified documents from the Yugoslav UDB and the Albanian State Security (Sigurimi) reveal details regarding the illegal activities of Kadri Zeka during the late 1970s and early 1980s. According to UDB records, Zeka had moved into illegality by April 1978, though his exact location remained unknown to both security services and his own family at the time.

Documents published by Debat Plus indicate that Zeka's brother, Taip Zeka, had lost contact with him approximately five months prior to October 1978. During this period, Hydajet Hyseni, a journalist and close associate of Zeka, also disappeared. While security services struggled to locate him, a student named Saime Isufi testified that she had encountered Zeka at her dormitory while he was in hiding, noting that he appeared to be using a disguise.
