The Forum of Education Secretaries and the Kaduna State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) have endorsed Governor Uba Sani for a second term in 2027. The endorsement follows an assessment of improvements in the state’s basic education sector between 2023 and 2026.

Key achievements cited by the forum include the construction or rehabilitation of approximately 3,267 classrooms, 2,232 toilets, 87 science laboratories, and 29 computer centers. The administration also reportedly provided 81,540 pieces of furniture and established four bilingual education schools in Igabi, Zaria, Kubau, and Giwa/Kudan, which can accommodate roughly 7,680 learners.

In terms of human capital, over 33,000 teachers and school support staff received training in areas such as computer skills, literacy, and classroom management. The forum also highlighted the implementation of the national minimum wage, which increased primary school teacher salaries from N38,000 to N72,000, and the distribution of over 545,000 teaching and learning materials.
