Kaduna Governor Uba Sani launches skill centers and resolves land disputes

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has launched several initiatives aimed at economic renewal and social stability. During the groundbreaking of the NASENI Skill Development Centre in Rigachikun, the Governor emphasized that skills development is essential for social inclusion and economic growth. He highlighted the success of the Kaduna State Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development, which recently graduated 4,050 students across 14 trades, including solar installation, mechatronics, and electrical installation.

In a separate effort to address social welfare, Governor Sani has moved to resolve a decade-long land dispute in the Igabi Local Government Area. To prevent homelessness among communities affected by previous land seizures involving the military, the administration is distributing alternative land titles and farmlands to over 5,000 residents. The intervention includes providing free fertilizer and special economic support to help displaced farmers and households re-establish their livelihoods.
