Kaduna Governor unveils 2026 Peugeot models at DPAN

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has unveiled the 2026 Peugeot 3008 and 5008 models at the Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (DPAN) facility. The Governor described the development as a significant boost to Nigeria’s automotive manufacturing industry, noting that such investments are critical for accelerating industrialization, promoting technology transfer, and creating employment.

To support the manufacturer, Governor Sani pledged to hand over official land title documents to DPAN and committed to ordering vehicles for the Kaduna State Government to set an example for other entities. He also announced plans to present a case to the National Economic Council, urging both federal and state ministries, departments, and agencies to patronize locally produced vehicles to ensure the company's survival.

Sani commended Aliko Dangote for his continued investment in Nigeria and highlighted DPAN’s role in addressing skill gaps and boosting the local economy. He further encouraged the company to recruit graduates from the Institute of Vocational and Skills Development to maintain the partnership between the state and the industrial sector.
