Kaelen Ohm discusses acting career and new film at TIFF

Actor Kaelen Ohm discussed her career transition from an extreme skier in Fernie, British Columbia, to a professional actor and filmmaker during a session at the Toronto International Film Festival. Ohm highlighted how the fearlessness required for mountain sports informs her approach to acting.

Her latest film, ‘The Betrayers’, is premiering at the festival, in which she plays Leora, a woman who breaks away from a powerful Israeli politician to forge her own path. Ohm’s previous notable work includes roles in ‘Hell on Wheels’, ‘Taken’, ‘Murdoch Mysteries’, and her breakout performance in the Netflix series ‘Hit & Run’ alongside Lior Raz.
