Kafkas University and Beyazay Association sign accessibility protocol

Kafkas University and the Türkiye Beyazay Association have signed a cooperation protocol aimed at increasing accessibility within universities. The initiative, titled ‘Barrier-Free University’, seeks to support the education, research, and career processes of individuals with physical, emotional, psychological, and mental differences.

The agreement covers a wide range of activities, including educational programs, scientific research, and career planning. Beyond physical infrastructure, the partnership aims to improve accessibility in technology, services, and academic instruction. The protocol also includes plans to launch awareness campaigns and foster solidarity with student clubs and non-governmental organizations.

Additionally, the collaboration will provide financial and moral support to students working on accessibility-related thesis projects and academic research. Both institutions intend to submit joint project applications to domestic and international organizations to further these goals.
