Kafrelsheikh University hosts Computing and AI Innovation Hackathon

Kafrelsheikh University is hosting the 2026 Computing and Artificial Intelligence Innovation Hackathon, organized by its Faculty of Computers and Information. The university president, Dr. Yahya Zakaria Eid, received a delegation of academic, military, and technological experts to mark the event.

The delegation included leadership from the Egyptian Military Academy for Scientific Research, the National Committee for Artificial Intelligence Sciences, and the Information Technology Institute. The initiative aims to foster creativity among students and young researchers, bridging the gap between academic research and the demands of the national labor market.

Dr. Eid emphasized that the hackathon serves as a platform to discover talent and transform innovative ideas into applicable technological solutions that support Egypt's Vision 2030 and sustainable development goals.
