Kagawa Five Arrows reports revenue growth and new coaching intern

Kagawa Five Arrows has released its financial results for the 21st term (July 2025 to June 2026), reporting a significant increase in revenue to approximately 817 million yen, up from 570 million yen the previous year. This growth was primarily driven by a substantial rise in sponsorship income, with the club now supported by over 500 partner companies. Other revenue streams, including ticket sales, merchandise, and fan club memberships, also saw notable increases.

On the court, the team finished the regular season in first place with a club-record 25-game winning streak and a .846 winning percentage, though they were ultimately defeated in the B3 league playoffs. Looking ahead to the 2026-27 season, the club will join the new B. ONE league. The organization has appointed Sho Higashijima as the new head coach and aims to achieve a regional championship while pursuing a B. PREMIER license.

Additionally, the club announced that Jin-Soo Choi, a former professional basketball player from South Korea with extensive KBL experience, has joined the organization as a youth coaching intern. Choi will work with the youth team while also engaging with the top team to develop his coaching career.
