Kagiso Rabada suffers hamstring injury ahead of South Africa season

South African pace bowler Kagiso Rabada has sustained a right hamstring injury during winter training, according to Cricket South Africa (CSA). The injury occurs ahead of a significant international season for the Proteas.

CSA stated that Rabada will undergo further medical assessments to determine the severity of the injury and how it will affect his availability for upcoming matches. The pacer was expected to be a central figure in South Africa's home season, which includes an ODI series against Australia in September, followed by three Test matches. The team is also scheduled to face Bangladesh and England in red-ball assignments between November and January.

In related news, South Africa A all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy has been ruled out of the first unofficial Test against Bangladesh A due to a lower back spasm.
