Çayeli hosts ‘Crazy Teapots’ ceramic art exhibition

The Ahmet Mesut Yılmaz Social Facilities in Çayeli, Rize, hosted the opening of the ‘Crazy Teapots’ exhibition. Organized by the Bursa-based Akeramos Art Center to mark its 10th anniversary, the exhibition features 65 ceramic works by 65 different artists.

Curated by ceramic artist and retired lecturer Aysun Çölbayır Diniz, the collection transforms the traditional teapot form into non-functional, sculptural art. The pieces include works from both students and internationally recognized ceramic artists, incorporating regional motifs such as fish, people, and local figures to evoke joy and surprise.

The exhibition is open to visitors until October 2nd.
