Kahramanmaraş firewood prices updated for winter

As winter approaches in Kahramanmaraş, residents are preparing for heating needs. Current market prices for firewood have been established, with pine wood priced at 8,000 TL per ton and oak wood priced at 10,000 TL per ton.

Oak wood is preferred by many for its high heat output and long burning duration when properly dried, while pine wood is noted for its ease of ignition. The 2,000 TL per ton price difference between the two types is a significant factor for households planning their winter heating budgets, particularly in rural areas and regions without natural gas infrastructure.
