Turkey hosts major agricultural fairs in Kahramanmaraş and Bursa
Turkey is hosting several significant agricultural events across different regions. In Kahramanmaraş, the 10th Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair has reopened at the EXPO 2023 Onikişubat area after a four-year hiatus following the February 6 earthquakes. The event features approximately 186 brands and 121 stands showcasing agricultural machinery, equipment, and technologies. The opening ceremony included high-level officials such as Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişci.
In Bursa, the AgroGreen Bursa 2nd Agriculture and Livestock Fair is scheduled for October 14–17, 2026. This international event aims to connect Turkish producers with global markets, expecting over 1,200 participants and delegations from 15 countries, including Ghana, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Iraq. The fair will feature panels on topics such as digital agriculture, women's cooperatives, and new-generation farming.
Additionally, in Erzurum, local agricultural authorities are conducting field visits and the “Friday Meetings” program in the Şenkaya and Olur districts. These initiatives focus on informing farmers about new support models, agricultural planning, and insurance to increase regional production and sustainability.
