Kahramanmaraş hosts 11th International Book Fair

The 11th International Kahramanmaraş Book Fair, organized by the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality under the theme ‘Come and Notice’, has concluded its tenth day with significant visitor turnout. Held at the KAFUM exhibition area, the event featured approximately 150 publishing houses and attracted nearly 400,000 visitors over its 10-day duration.

AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Bahadır Yenişehirlioğlu participated in the event, noting that the fair contributes to the development of culture and reading habits. He highlighted Kahramanmaraş’s status as a fertile ground for poets and writers. Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fırat Görgel emphasized the importance of the fair for the city, which is recognized as a UNESCO City of Literature, stating that the organization aims to become a continuous tradition for the region.
