Kahramanmaraş hosts Sup Kano event at Menzelet Dam

Hundreds of athletes participated in a ‘Sup Kano’ event held at the Menzelet Dam and Ali Kayası in Kahramanmaraş. Organized through a collaboration between the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality and the Maraş Sup Spor Kulübü, the event aimed to promote the city's natural beauty and encourage sports participation.

Participants entered the water at the Şadalak location in the Suçatı neighborhood and paddled across the Menzelet Dam to reach the foothills of Ali Kayası. The activity allowed athletes to experience the region's natural landscape from the water.

Athletes from surrounding provinces, including Adana and Gaziantep, joined the event. Participants noted that the organization provided a unique way to explore the area's scenery while fostering social connections and promoting local tourism.
