Kahramanmaraş implements school security and water conservation programs

In Kahramanmaraş, local authorities are implementing new initiatives focused on student welfare and environmental awareness. The Kahramanmaraş Water and Sewerage Administration (KASKİ) has launched educational activities at Haydar Aliyev Kindergarten to teach children about water conservation. Using the character ‘Mavi’, the program uses interactive methods to emphasize that water resources are not unlimited.

Simultaneously, the ‘Safe School Project’ has been activated for the 2026-2027 academic year. Under this project, police officers and private security personnel have begun patrolling school entrances and grounds to enhance student safety. Akif Bulut, the District Director of National Education for Onikişubat, stated that security forces have taken all necessary precautions at school entrances to ensure families feel secure.
