Kahramanmaraş infrastructure and security updates

Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality and the KASKİ Water and Sewerage Administration have announced several infrastructure projects and roadwork updates across the Onikişubat and Dulkadiroğlu districts. In Dulkadiroğlu, asphalt paving has commenced on Maşallah Street in the Divanlı neighborhood following the completion of underground utility works.

KASKİ has issued warnings to drivers regarding ongoing maintenance on numerous streets and boulevards, including Abdullah Edip Avenue, Tiyeklioğlu Kadir Avenue, and several major routes in Dulkadiroğlu such as Tevfik Kadıoğlu Boulevard and Salman Zülkadiroğlu Boulevard. Commuters are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid delays.

Separately, the Kahramanmaraş Provincial Police Department reported the results of security operations conducted between October 12 and October 18, 2026. During this period, authorities questioned 21,837 individuals, resulting in 115 apprehensions and 20 arrests. Seized items included unlicensed pistols, blank-firing pistols, shotguns, and various types of ammunition.
