Arsin Investment Island Industrial Zone begins infrastructure works

Infrastructure and reinforcement works have commenced at the Arsin Investment Island Industrial Zone in Trabzon. The project is considered a strategic development for the region's industrial future, aiming to boost production capacity and create new employment opportunities.

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality has taken a stronger role in the project following the transfer of 50.05% of company shares from the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the municipality. Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç inspected the site, noting that the works include reinforcement, filling, and other essential infrastructure to make the area ready for investors.

In addition to the Arsin project, various municipalities across Turkey are conducting infrastructure improvements. In Mersin, a road connecting four neighborhoods was widened from 3 to 10 meters to support tourism and agriculture. In Ankara, the EGO fleet was expanded with 15 new buses, while municipalities in Aydın, Kahramanmaraş, and Yomra are also implementing road and transportation upgrades.
