Kahramanmaraş new stadium construction inspected by football legends

Turkish football legends and sports media personalities recently inspected the ongoing construction of a new stadium in the Dulkadiroğlu district of Kahramanmaraş. The facility, located in the İstasyon neighborhood, is designed to have a seating capacity of 17,500.

Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fırat Görgel led the delegation, which included former national players Tanju Çolak, Mehmet Özdilek, and İbrahim Yattara, alongside TRT Sport commentator Erdoğan Arıkan. The group received updates on the construction progress from Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yasin Özdemir.

During the visit, the attendees evaluated the facility from both professional player and sports broadcasting perspectives. Mehmet Özdilek expressed his hope to see Kahramanmaraş teams competing in the Süper Lig, while Tanju Çolak noted the significant development and transformation of the city since his playing days.
