Kahramanmaraş to open its first drift track

Dulkadiroğlu Municipality has completed Kahramanmaraş’s first drift track, located in the Karacasu Kırım neighborhood. The facility is scheduled to open on Saturday, September 26, at 16:00, with events planned to continue through Sunday, September 27.

The project aims to provide a controlled and safe environment for automobile and motor sports enthusiasts, specifically targeting young people to move high-speed and drift activities away from public city streets. Dulkadiroğlu Mayor Mehmet Akpınar stated that the goal is to allow enthusiasts to experience adrenaline in a closed, secure area rather than in traffic.

Beyond the driving track, the facility is designed as a social hub for automotive culture. It includes amenities such as a cafeteria, a car wash, and points of sale for tires and accessories. The center is intended to host various future automotive organizations and shows.
