KAI and ROK Air Force host international aerospace and defense events in Sacheon

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and the Republic of Korea Air Force are hosting major aerospace and defense events in Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do. The 15th Korea Technical Cooperation Group (K-TCG) and the 9th Safety Management Group (SMG) meetings are bringing together approximately 140 domestic officials and 24 representatives from six countries, including Indonesia, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Thailand, and Türkiye, to discuss technical support and flight safety for domestic aircraft.

Simultaneously, the 2026 Sacheon Airshow and the GADEX (Global Aerospace & Defense Exhibition) have commenced, showcasing advanced technologies such as the KF-21 fighter jet, FA-50, and various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Hanwha Aerospace is also participating, presenting aerospace technologies ranging from advanced aero-engines to the Nuri space launch vehicle. The events serve as a platform for international business consultations, featuring participation from global firms like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Safran, and Rolls-Royce.
