Kai Cenat and Ray announce return to Japan livestream

Streamer Kai Cenat and his collaborator Ray, also known as Rayasianboy, have announced a scheduled livestream event titled “Kai & Ray: Returning 2 Japan.” The stream is set to begin on October 21 at 9 am JST, broadcasting across Twitch and YouTube.

The announcement was made via a two-minute trailer featuring a skit that references the duo’s first meeting outside a Tokyo 7-Eleven in July 2023. In the trailer, Ray uses the alias “Bankroll Ray” and his catchphrase “God Did!” before a scripted confrontation leads to the decision to fly back to Japan for a “reset.”

The partnership between Cenat and Ray began when Ray, then a high school student, approached Cenat during an IRL livestream. Since their meeting, the pair has collaborated on various high-production projects, including the action-comedy short “Global Pursuit,” and Ray has appeared alongside Cenat during major industry events such as the Streamy Awards.
