KAI Commuter hosts inaugural Skate Games in Slipi

PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KAI Commuter) launched the Commuter Skate Games at the Slipi Fly Over Skatepark in Jakarta on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The event marks the company’s first extreme sports championship and is part of the celebrations for KAI Commuter’s 18th anniversary.

The competition features 85 selected athletes from various regions. Due to high interest, participants underwent a selection process in collaboration with professional skate schools to fill the limited quota.

In addition to the main competition, the organizers are providing prizes worth tens of millions of rupiah. The program also includes social responsibility initiatives, such as scholarship opportunities for selected participants through the Rising Star and Inspiration categories.
