Kai Hansen Releases “Welcome To Life” Single from Solo Album

German heavy‑metal veteran Kai Hansen, co‑founder of Helloween and founder of Gamma Ray, issued the new single “Welcome To Life” ahead of his solo album Born With A Hammer, scheduled for release on 18 September via earMusic. The track blends heavy‑metal riffs, rapid tempo shifts and a punk‑rock attitude, reflecting Hansen’s long‑standing influence on European power‑metal.

The recording features guitarist Eike Freese, bassist Alexander Dietz (Heaven Shall Burn), drummer Dan Wilding (Carcass) and guitarist Tim Hansen (Induction). A lyric video accompanies the song, depicting a Mustang racing through a fiery, surreal landscape. The album will also include the previously released video for “Feeding The Beast”.
