KAI inspects Kediri-Tulungagung railway line for safety

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 7 Madiun conducted a comprehensive safety inspection of the railway line between Kediri and Tulungagung in East Java. Led by Vice President Ali Afandi, management used a dresin trolley to inspect track conditions, infrastructure, and the readiness of operational personnel.

The inspection focused on several key roles, including crossing guards, platform supervisors, and train journey regulators, to ensure all procedures meet safety standards. In addition to infrastructure checks, the Mediska Clinic team performed health screenings on staff, monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and oxygen levels to ensure personnel are fit for duty.

Following the field inspection, officials held evaluations and discussions in Tulungagung to address potential risks and discuss measures to improve operational reliability.
