Kai Trump prepares to play college golf at University of Miami

Kai Trump, the 19-year-old granddaughter of Donald Trump, is preparing to begin her freshman year at the University of Miami, where she will play for the Hurricanes golf team starting August 17.

In a recent vlog, Trump shared the emotional difficulty of leaving her family and friends. She noted that her mother, Vanessa Trump, has also been emotional during the transition, particularly as Vanessa continues to manage a breast cancer diagnosis received in May.

Ahead of her departure, Trump held a final training session with her longtime coach, Alex Paup. During the session, Paup advised her to avoid romantic relationships during college to prevent distractions from her athletic commitments. Trump is currently working to regain full strength following a recent wrist surgery.
