Kaišiadorys ranks 15th in Lithuania for electric vehicle numbers
Data analyzed by WHEELSTREET regarding vehicle statistics in Lithuania shows that the Kaišiadorys district ranks 15th out of 60 municipalities for electric vehicle (EV) numbers. The district currently has 164 electric vehicles, representing 1.11% of its total vehicle park.
While the number of EVs in Kaišiadorys is higher than in the neighboring Jonava and Prienai districts, the rate of new registrations in the area is slower than its neighbors, recorded at 4.62% compared to rates of 5.09% to 5.78% in surrounding regions. Julius Jankauskas, head of WHEELSTREET, noted that while the district's location between two major cities influences its EV numbers, the market for conventional cars appears calmer there than in Elektrėnai or Jonava.
