Kailaras sugar factory to be restarted in Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced that the Kailaras sugar factory in the Morena district will be restarted. The initiative aims to provide farmers in the region with better returns on their produce and improve their economic stability.
During the 'Balram Krishi Mahotsav', Yadav highlighted several government efforts to support the agricultural sector, including promoting dairy farming and increasing milk collection through cooperatives. He also noted plans to provide solar pumps to 30 lakh people to reduce irrigation costs and promised 10 hours of daytime power for agricultural activities. Additionally, the state is offering zero-interest credit to farmers, with repayment periods for Kharif and Rabi crop loans extended from six months to one year.
