KAILAS named title sponsor for FWT China Series

KAILAS has announced it will serve as the title sponsor for the Freeride World Tour (FWT) China Series for the 2026/27 season. The announcement was made during the ‘BEYOND THE GATE’ snow season opening night in Guangzhou.

The FWT China Series is set to include four qualifier events at the Jikepulin Ski Resort in Hemu, Altay, Xinjiang. These competitions are scheduled to take place during two windows: December 9–15, 2026, and February 26–March 3, 2027. The series is designed to provide Chinese riders with a pathway into international freeride competitions.

In addition to sponsorship, KAILAS is launching the ‘BEYOND THE GATE’ initiative to foster a broader skiing community. This program aims to connect skiers with mountain culture through professional guidance, backcountry safety education, and ski lessons. The brand also showcased its TAIGA ski apparel, which features RECCO® technology for search and rescue purposes.
