Kainchi Dham experiences massive crowds and traffic jams
Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand is experiencing a massive influx of devotees, with over 28,000 people visiting in a single day. The surge has led to severe traffic congestion, with vehicle queues stretching 3 to 4 kilometers, and overcrowding within the temple premises.
This increased interest is attributed in part to the release of the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, a biopic centered on the spiritual legacy of Neem Karoli Baba. In response to the situation, the film’s writer and director, Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, issued an appeal via social media urging devotees to check local conditions and travel plans before visiting to avoid unnecessary hardship.
Amid the crowds, reports of physical altercations have emerged. Two devotees from Gurgaon were reportedly assaulted with iron rods and sticks following a dispute, resulting in injuries that required medical treatment at the Bhawali CHC.
