Kairi Sane requires US promotion contract for visa renewal
Professional wrestler Kairi Sane remains a free agent following her release from WWE earlier this year. While speculation has suggested visa issues are delaying a potential move to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), reports indicate the primary situation is that Sane requires a new US-based contract to initiate the visa renewal process.
Sane’s US visa has expired, and any renewal requires sponsorship from a wrestling promotion or agency. Because she has not yet signed with a US organization like AEW, the sponsorship step has not begun. Once a contract is finalized, an expedited visa could potentially be approved in as little as 15 business days.
Sane currently has multiple standing offers from promotions in Japan, including work with Stardom. However, these offers would not resolve her US visa status. She is scheduled to appear at Chris Jericho’s Rock N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise in November; because the event takes place in international waters, no US visa is required for her participation.
