Kaiser Aluminum posts record Q2 2026 earnings, beats forecasts and raises outlook
Kaiser Aluminum Corp. announced record second‑quarter 2026 financial results. Net sales reached $1.3 billion, up from $823 million a year earlier, while net income rose to $97 million, or $5.72 per diluted share. Adjusted earnings were $5.53 per share and adjusted EBITDA hit $166 million, delivering a 38.1% margin. The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.77 per share.
Management said the performance was driven by a higher‑value packaging mix, recovering aerospace demand, favorable scrap spreads and strong customer activity. Kaiser Aluminum raised its full‑year outlook, noting confidence in its end‑market positioning despite expected normalization of aluminum price dynamics.
Analyst estimates had projected EPS of $2.66, so the reported $5.53 EPS considerably exceeded expectations. The stock traded around $164 after the release, and several analysts upgraded price targets and ratings.
