Kaiti Garbi honors Dimitris Kokotas in Kalamata tribute

During a concert in Kalamata, singer Kaiti Garbi paid an emotional tribute to the late Dimitris Kokotas, who passed away at the age of 57 on August 25, 2026. Garbi performed ‘Porcelani’, a song originally made famous by Kokotas, which she has covered for her upcoming album project.

Garbi shared a personal moment with the audience, noting that she had released a teaser for the song shortly before Kokotas' death. She expressed that she had released it with the hope and prayer that he would hear it, stating, ‘The miracle did not happen.’ She emphasized the importance of keeping the music of beloved artists alive through performance.

The new album, released by Panik Platinum in late September, features covers of songs by Foivos that were originally known through male voices.
