Kaito Takahashi launches first solo Celeru exhibition at Shibuya PARCO
Kaito Takahashi, a member of the group King & Prince, has launched his first solo exhibition, ‘Fushigi na Celeru-ten created by Kaito Takahashi,’ at Shibuya PARCO. The exhibition showcases the world of ‘Celeru,’ a unique character created by Takahashi that features large ears, bird-like feet, and tearful eyes.
The exhibition is divided into three main areas: a space featuring original animations, a forest area representing the birth of Celeru, and a room depicting their daily lives. Visitors can also participate in a section to create their own customized Celeru figures. The event is described as an immersive, amusement-park-like experience involving collaborations with creative collectives like SAMPO Inc. and moi.
Following the Shibuya run, the exhibition is scheduled to tour six locations across Japan, including Shinsaibashi, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai, and Sapporo. Official merchandise, including a character plushie and an exhibition catalog featuring interviews and making-of content, will also be available.
