Kaito Tsuchiya emerges as defensive key for Fukushima United FC

Fukushima United FC center-back Kaito Tsuchiya has become a vital component of the team's defense during their recent winning streak in J3. The 20-year-old, who joined from Kawasaki Frontale, has appeared in 11 of the team's 13 matches this season.

Tsuchiya leads the squad in duels won, tackles, and aerial victories. Beyond his defensive contributions, he has shown growth in offensive play, recently scoring his first J-League goal via a header during a match against Ehime. His performances have earned him a selection to the Japan U-21 national team.

While Fukushima United FC maintains a strong offensive record, ranking third in the league for goals scored, the team continues to face challenges with defensive stability, currently holding the highest number of goals conceded in the league. Tsuchiya's role is seen as increasingly critical to the club's goal of promotion to J2.
