Da Cruz stressed the need for a cohesive attacking identity across the squad rather than reliance on a single striker, and noted that new signings in the transfer window aim to support that goal.

The coach also highlighted young forward Wandile Duba as a key ingredient in the attacking upgrade. Duba, praised for his versatility on the wing and as a central striker, was introduced in the second half of a 1‑0 Toyota Cup win over Scottland FC, where his energy helped raise the team's intensity.
